At our company you have the possibility to acquire PPL-H (private pilot licence – helicopter) licence - basic training - and Schweizer 300CBi, EC 120 B and AS 350 B1 helicopter type rating as well.

For those who are interested in the basic training, we provide the opportunity of a test flight to try how to fly a helicopter and get acquainted with the instructor pilots.

At the Fly 4 Less Ltd. you can learn the practice of controlling the helicopter in a Schweizer 300 CBi type helicopter designed for the U.S. military pilots.

PPL-H

The criteria of attaining the helicopter private pilot licence:

• The minimum age of 17 (The training can be started at an earlier age, but for getting the student pilot licence – SPL-H, which is the requirement for flying alone and attaining the helicopter private pilot licence – you have to be at least 16 years old. )

• Successful theoretical and practical exam

The subjects of the theoretical training are the following (totally 74 hours):

1. Air Low
2. General Helicopter Technical Knowledge
3. Flight Planning and Performance
4. Human Performance
5. Meteorology
6. Navigation
7. Operation Procedures
8. Theory of Flight
9. Communication

The practical training is minimum 45 hours.

The theoretical part of the basic training can be fulfilled during approximately 3 months – depending on your free time. For this we try to be flexible, so the theoretical training will be held in line with your time – weekends, weekdays during or after working hours.
The practical training is approximately 3 months. (4-5 flight hours in a week, 2-3 occasions)
The theoretical part can be done partly parallel with the practical training.
During the basic training - before flying alone first time - it is necessary to attain the student pilot licence. The criterion of attaining the student private pilot licence at the Fly 4 Less Ltd. is a successfully passed theoretical exam. The student pilot license issued by the Aviation Authority.
After the completion of the theoretical and practical training, the student must take an exam at the Aviation Authority in theory and practice as well.

HELICOPTER RENTAL (Schweizer 300 CBi)

We provide the opportunity for collecting flight hours with the Schweizer 300 CBi helicopter in dry lease for those, who made the PPL-H or thy type training for Schweizer 300 CBi at the Fly 4 Less Ltd. The conditions of the dry lease and the rental cost set after a personal appointment to suit your needs.

TYPE RATING

The helicopter type rating theoretical training takes 12 hours, which can be made in 3 days.
The practical training is 11 hours, which can be made in 5-6 occasions.
The helicopter type rating will be registered into the licence after the completion of the theoretical and practical training, and taking an exam at the Aviation Authority in theory and practice as well.

OTHER INFORMATION

The training – PPL-H and type rating – can be done in Hungarian or in English language as well, according to your needs.
The theoretical training takes place in the training room int he Somogyi Street. (1115 Budapest, 25 Somogyi Street 1/2)7
The practical training takes place at the Budaörs Airport (LHBS), as a base airport.
The license issued and published after the type rating used in the Member States of the ICAO.
Usage of the licence abroad may require additional requirements. (E.g.: language extension) It is recommended to inquire in advance.

PRICES

PPL-H basic training is 4 440 000 HUF + VAT.
The price of the type training will be set according to the special needs.
